Description
Temporary Linux-only hosted artifact-reuse rehearsal for #3175 and #3176. Do not merge.
This draft targets the fixed CI mirror
pull-request/3176, using successful baseline run 40426114619 atfeb25b1b3d3c1744b680bf54ff10986ed4e59953. The ordinary PR baseline resolver and reusable workflows run unchanged.The net diff contains only a comment in the Linux test workflow. The selected plan builds no package wheels, downloads and re-uploads the baseline wheels under this run's artifact names, builds the selected test extensions/binaries, and runs the Linux suites. Windows, sdist, and Core API checks are intentionally skipped; the final aggregator accepted all planned skips while requiring the selected work to pass.
The complementary CUDA 12 source-change scenario is #3237. Separate temporary PRs let this case proceed while that run waits for GPU runner capacity. The actual review stack remains unchanged.
The full hosted run passed on its first attempt: run 40460578171. All 42 selected Linux GPU rows and the final aggregate passed. Across all 14 build cells, all 98 package-wheel build steps skipped, all 70 test-extension/binary build steps succeeded, and the expected 45 reused package artifacts exist. Documentation/link checks, preview deployment, and auxiliary checks also passed. No fixes, retries, or cancellations were needed.
