Summary

Why?

A task-wide failure currently prevents a completed build from closing any missing issue in the queue. An unrelated task can pass while its old issues remain open.

What?

Limit closure suppression to missing targets of the task with the task-wide failure. Missing issues from other tasks, including task-wide issues, can close. Unreported closed targets remain closed, and reported failures still open or remain open.

Test Plan

  • Issue-tracking and entity Bazel unit tests pass, including task-specific suppression, failures discovered in a later batch, history retries, and closure on the next successful build.
  • Repository formatting, lint, dependency, and Gazelle checks pass.

Issues

Stack
