Summary

Prepares @react-zero-ui/core@0.4.5 with a fix for repeated Warning: Parsing CSS source code failed warnings in Next.js apps using next/font/local. Zero UI injects variants only into stylesheets with directives recognized by Tailwind's PostCSS plugin. Plain font CSS stays unchanged, while Tailwind entrypoints and CSS modules using @reference, @apply, or @variant retain global and scoped variants.

Adds editor hover documentation for useUI, useScopedUI, cssVar, setter types, and scoped refs. The docs explain DOM updates without React re-renders, the initial-value tuple, generated Tailwind variants, and the ref element as the scope root, with typed examples and API links.

Validation

• GitHub CI and Vercel passed for 681524a (CI run); all configured suites passed on Linux.
• Reproduced the warning with a real local font in the packed Next.js fixture; the browser regression failed before the fix and passes afterward, with zero CSS parsing warnings.
• Next.js against the 0.4.5 tarball: 12 passed, 2 existing skips. Used port 3107 locally because port 3000 was occupied; repository configuration is unchanged.
• The font-loading assertion checks the bundled font alone. Next's generated family list also includes a local Arial fallback; requiring that fallback reproduced NetworkError when the system font was unavailable on the test host.
• Vite: 19 passed. Source unit tests: 164 passed, 2 existing skips. PostCSS integration tests: 36 passed. CLI suite: 45 passed.
• pnpm release:pack packages/core 0.4.5 dist passed: manifest/version, repository metadata, published entry points, dependency protocols, and package contents validated.
• Package smoke test, lint, and TypeScript build passed. Verified TypeScript hover text from packed declarations and type-checked both JSDoc examples. Hook runtime output is unchanged.
• Wiki audit: all 9 scoped pages current.

Release

• Core patch version: 0.4.4 → 0.4.5.
• create-zero-ui stays at 2.0.5; its published dependency range, ^0.4.4, already accepts this patch. No dependency or public API changes are required.
• After required checks and review pass, merge into main and publish the GitHub Release core-v0.4.5 from the merged commit. The existing trusted-publishing workflow validates and publishes @react-zero-ui/core@0.4.5 to npm.
