• The built-in <arch>-openkal platform is mcpplibs.openkal-platform@0.21.1 (docs/35 and the pages that show it). openkal-image 0.3.1: okrun admits an okb member it compared before, on the same file, by its shape (okld_okb_admit_layout); 0.3.0 computed the member's CRC-32 on every start (0.1 s of processor time for clangd's 71 MB image, paid by each of a language server's module workers). openkal-musl 0.26.1 and openkal-llvm-runtime 0.17.1 pin that loader.
• Design 2026-11-02 part 3 landed (rev 4, §16.6 and §17): the implementation's revisions — openkal 0.21's kal_exec_map_part, the C library and C++ run-time, the engine's revisions measured on macOS (a worker's ceiling watched, an open directory's count of names on APFS, one opening of a cache root), the okb admission — and the acceptance: L2 against the system's library built by Clang (the gate) and by the system compiler (reported), L3 (warm-prime) on every system.
• A download source that connects and sends nothing no longer stops the install (docs/specs/home-initialization.md §5). xlings leaves a source after 30 s without a byte (XLINGS_DOWNLOAD_IDLE_TIMEOUT) and tries the next; mcpp's own watchdog stopped the install after the same 30 s, so the next source was never reached. Two CI runs on 2026-11-02 stopped this way on a GitHub proxy at attempt 1. mcpp's bound is now kDownloadStallTimeout = 45 s, longer than a source's (kSourceIdleTimeout 30 s, kSourceConnectTimeout 8 s, unchanged); a unit test holds the order.
