Deprecate @fedify/denokv while keeping 2.x support - #1340
Deno KV was built primarily for Deno Deploy. Deno's team is joining Cloudflare, Deno Deploy is shutting down, and the local Deno KV implementation is an unstable SQLite wrapper with a 64 KiB value limit. Existing Deno applications still need to work through the 2.x series, so the adapter is deprecated rather than removed.
How
packages/denokv/src/mod.ts keeps the public API unchanged and adds @deprecated JSDoc to the module, both classes, and the message queue options type. The constructors log a LogTape warning under the ["fedify", "denokv", "deprecated"] category, which reaches existing applications without changing behavior. The adapter tests remain unchanged, and a new test asserts one warning per construction.
Two lint rules, deno-kv-store-deprecated and deno-kv-message-queue-deprecated, report imports from @fedify/denokv in ESLint, Oxlint, and Deno Lint. They cover aliases, type-only imports, re-exports, and namespace imports. Deno Lint has no warning level and reports plugin rules as errors, so packages/init/src/action/configs.ts excludes the selected rule in generated Deno projects.
fedify init labels the option as denokv (deprecated) while keeping -k denokv and -m denokv, and generated projects keep "unstable": ["kv"]. This keeps 2.x projects reproducible.
The manuals, the fedify skill, and the landing page now steer new deployments to SqliteKvStore or the production adapters instead of Deno KV. The Deno tabs in docs/tutorial/basics.md use SqliteKvStore with DatabaseSync from node:sqlite, matching the Node.js and Bun tabs.
Fedify keeps supporting @fedify/denokv throughout the 2.x series, but
Deno KV was built primarily for Deno Deploy, which is shutting down, and
its local implementation is an unstable SQLite wrapper with a 64 KiB
value limit. Deprecate the package in 2.5.0 and prepare for removal in
Fedify 3.0.0.
This commit includes the following changes:
- Added @deprecated JSDoc and a LogTape warning to DenoKvStore and
DenoKvMessageQueue.
- Added the deno-kv-store-deprecated and deno-kv-message-queue-deprecated
lint rules for ESLint, Oxlint, and Deno Lint.
- Labelled the denokv option as deprecated in fedify init while keeping
it selectable and excluding the new Deno Lint rules in generated
projects.
- Updated the documentation, skills, and Deno tutorial to point new
deployments at SQLite and the production adapters.

This PR deprecates @fedify/denokv and its adapters while preserving Fedify 2.x support. It adds runtime warnings and lint rules, updates fedify init, and revises documentation and the Deno tutorial to use SQLite.
Changes: Deno KV deprecation
Layer / File(s)
Summary
Adapter deprecation and warnings packages/denokv/src/mod.ts, packages/denokv/src/mod.test.ts, packages/denokv/README.md, CHANGES.md, changes.d/denokv/*
The package, store, queue, and queue options are marked deprecated through Fedify 2.x, with removal planned for 3.0.0. Store and queue construction logs warnings. Tests capture the warnings.
Documentation describes the support timeline and replacement backends. The Deno basics tutorial switches to SQLite, and general guidance removes Deno KV recommendations.

Explanation
The title states the main change: @fedify/denokv is deprecated, and 2.x support is kept. The changeset adds deprecation JSDoc, constructor warnings, lint rules, and docs, and it keeps the adapter working in 2.x. The title is concise, specific, and matches the primary change.

Explanation
The description states the purpose of the change: deprecating the Deno KV adapter while keeping it usable through 2.x, with removal tracked in #1336. It then explains the lint rules, the constructor warnings, the fedify init labeling, the docs updates, and the Deno tutorial switch to SqliteKvStore. These points all match the changeset.
Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
Issue #1335 requirements are implemented. packages/denokv/src/mod.ts marks the module, both adapter classes, and DenoKvMessageQueueOptions as deprecated. Both constructors emit LogTape warnings. The new tests verify warning emission, and existing adapter tests remain. The lint rules are registered for ESLint, Oxlint, and Deno Lint, with rule tests and documentation. fedify init labels both Deno KV options as deprecated, preserves the selections, retains the Deno KV unstable setting, and excludes the matching Deno Lint rules. The manuals, READMEs, skill, landing page, and tutorials document alternatives, 2.x support, and planned 3.0.0 removal. The Deno basics tutorial uses SqliteKvStore with node:sqlite.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The changes remain within issue #1335. Runtime warnings, lint rules, initializer configuration, tests, changelog entries, migration guidance, and documentation updates directly support Deno KV deprecation and 2.x compatibility. No unrelated product behavior or feature is introduced.

Explanation
Docstring coverage is 50.00% which is insufficient. The required threshold is 80.00%. Docstring coverage is scoped to functions touched by this diff with cyclomatic complexity of at least 2. Documentation-only edits and deletions within surviving functions are included; unchanged diff context and fully deleted functions are excluded. Analyzed 2 functions across 21 files. @fedify/cfworkers exports only its root module, so the kv subpath in the
JSR documentation URL does not resolve.

The tutorial's Deno tabs import node:sqlite, which Deno 2.2.0 added.
Readers on older Deno versions need to know before they start.

Oxlint has no recommended preset, so the denokv rules have to be enabled
explicitly. Add them to the example and drop the claim that Oxlint turns
them on by default.
