The Terraform feature could fail when the default tflint: "latest" release lacked valid checksum artifacts, causing checksum verification to process HTTP error responses.

  • Checksum handling

    • Require successful downloads and the expected archive entry in checksums.txt.
    • Validate the downloaded tflint archive before checksum verification.
    • Use literal filename matching for checksum checks.

  • Release fallback

    • Walk back through prior tflint tags when checksum artifacts are unavailable.
    • Harden keyless signature and legacy signature downloads.

  • Regression coverage

    • Add a Terraform scenario covering tflint 0.60.0.
    • Bump the Terraform feature version from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1.
