@tylerjereddy I hope this fixes the issue you were experiencing
Confirming that on the latest main branch of this project (hash: 78ead57) pixi run tests errors out with ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'array_api_extra' for me locally on ARM Mac.
On the feature branch associated with this PR, following git clean -xfd, the same incantation passes the full testsuite with Python 3.14.9 by default (4588 passed, 10674 skipped, 18 xfailed, 2 xpassed in 12.42s).
I don't understand all the changes in the diff, but just providing that "user report" with pixi 0.83.0.
