fix: support running from outside the project with --path - #6182
Running the CLI from outside the project with --path fails in two ways:
npm 12 install failure:--force, or a missing dependency, makes the CLI run npm install with its own options turned into flags. npm 12 rejects unknown flags, so ns debug ios --path apps/app --force stops with EUNKNOWNCONFIG: Unknown cli flag: --path.
Missing native sources:ios.NativeSource paths resolve against the working directory rather than the project. A path like ../../libs/native/**/*.swift matches nothing from the repo root, so the generated project gets an empty group and the build fails on missing types.
What is the new behavior?
path, frameworkPath, disableNpmInstall and ignoreScripts are no longer passed to package managers as flags. ignoreScripts still reaches them as --ignore-scripts.
NativeSource globs and folders resolve against the project.
A glob no longer ends up literally in HEADER_SEARCH_PATHS, where it matches nothing. The folders of the headers it matches are added instead, and a glob with no headers adds none.
Upgrade note: a project already prepared from outside its folder keeps its empty group, and neither prepare nor --force fills it in. Regenerate the platform to pick up the sources.
Testing
Adds unit tests for both fixes.
On a demo app with a NativeSource glob, run from outside the project: main left the group empty, and with this change the file was added with the right path after regenerating the platform.
ns run ios --path <app> --force installs, builds and launches with npm 12.
Independent of that stack, so it can land at any time.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Package-manager options no longer pass project-specific settings as command-line flags; supported package-manager options continue to be passed through.
iOS native-source folders and globs now resolve relative to the project directory, regardless of the current working directory. Header search paths are derived from matching header files, and header and module-map checks use the resolved source location.
ensureAllDependenciesAreInstalled passes path, frameworkPath, disableNpmInstall and ignoreScripts as install options, and getFlagsString turned them into flags. npm 12 fails on unknown flags, so ns commands that install with --path, like ns debug --path app --force, stopped with EUNKNOWNCONFIG.
They were resolved against the working directory, so running from outside the project with --path found no files and left the group empty, and the build failed on the missing types.

Walkthrough
Package-manager flag generation now excludes four CLI-only options. iOS native-source lookup resolves patterns and paths from the project directory. Native-source preparation also derives header search paths from matched headers.
Flag generation skips path, frameworkPath, disableNpmInstall, and ignoreScripts. Tests check omitted CLI-only options and emitted package-manager flags.

Summary
Resolve native-source paths from the project directory lib/services/ios-project-service.ts, test/ios-project-service-native-source.ts
Both callers pass the project directory to getRootGroup. Dynamic patterns and literal paths resolve from that directory. Tests cover glob and folder inputs.
Dynamic patterns use the parent directories of matched headers for header search paths. Header enumeration and module-map checks use the resolved group path. Tests cover header, Swift-only, and folder inputs.
The --path fix resolves native sources against the project and adds correct header directories. Two issues remain before merge. Header search paths from earlier glob matches can linger in the Xcode project. Projects prepared before this change can end up with an old and a new source group. The module-map warning for glob sources is also still skipped, as it was before this PR.

Full details: Title check
Explanation
The title "fix: support running from outside the project with --path" matches the main change in the PR. The PR fixes two failures when the CLI runs outside a project directory: CLI-only options (path, frameworkPath, disableNpmInstall, ignoreScripts) were leaking into package-manager flags, and ios.NativeSource globs and folders resolved against the working directory instead of the project. The title names the --path scenario, which is the trigger for both fixes, but it does not mention the NativeSource path resolution or the flag filtering. That is a partial, not complete, description of the change, so the check passes.

…paths
The glob itself ended up in HEADER_SEARCH_PATHS, where it matches nothing, relative to the Xcode project rather than the app. Folder paths now use the path resolved against the project for the search path and for the module map check as well.

Preserve the existing group identity on upgrade.
prepareNativeSourceCode now passes an absolute group.path to addPbxGroup, while older projects can have a relative path in the tracker. nativescript-dev-xcode 0.8.2 matches tracker entries by exact name and path. The relative entry is therefore missed, and the library creates a new group without removing the old one. This can leave a stale empty group or duplicate native-source entries after an upgrade.
Migrate the legacy tracker key or remove the legacy group before adding the resolved group.

Add directories containing matched module maps.
A glob can match module.modulemap in a source root and headers in a subdirectory. This code adds only the header directory, so the metadata generator cannot find the module map and JavaScript cannot access its Objective-C classes. Include matched module-map directories when headers are present. (docs.nativescript.org)

I couldn’t find a GitHub result matching that exact query. The search didn’t establish whether `pbxProject.js` contains either method. Try searching the repository directly for `addToHeaderSearchPaths` and `removeFromHeaderSearchPaths`, or share a branch/commit to check.

Reconcile glob-owned header search paths on each prepare.
addToHeaderSearchPaths appends a path when it is not already present. It does not replace existing paths. Because each prepare reloads and saves the existing project, directories from earlier glob matches remain when later matches change. removeNativeSourceCode removes only the glob path, not the matched header directories.
Track the paths owned by this group and remove paths that are no longer matched before adding the current paths. Fixed non-glob sources already used one stable group.path before this change; the accumulation of changing matched-directory entries is introduced by the new glob handling.

Check matched headers for glob inputs.
For a glob, group.path remains the pattern, so this existence check returns false even when group.files contains headers. A missing module map then produces no warning, although the Objective-C classes will not be accessible from JavaScript. Check the matched header locations instead.
