Why: two dependabot jackson-databind bumps were merged into main rather than develop (#845 7ab86d5, #846 c597a1d), so main held two commits develop did not and `git rev-list --count origin/develop..origin/main` read 2. The release cut's own next step is "merge develop into main on GitHub (fast-forward)", and with main not an ancestor of develop that step could no longer fast-forward - a divergence that would only surface mid-cut. What: both bumps raise jackson.bom.version from 2.22.2 to 2.22.3 in qa/pom.xml and testing/pom.xml, and nothing else; develop had already gone past that - #991 took the property to 2.22.4. Both conflicts are therefore resolved to 2.22.4, which supersedes the security fix main was carrying. Verification: the merged tree is byte-identical to develop - `git diff --cached origin/develop` is empty and both resolved blobs equal develop's objects (354a03e, a3c8b05). This merge joins the histories and changes no content.
