From 4463c3f385a94d666587b3b85712e5051f0e5b6c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jeff Huleatt <3759507+jhuleatt@users.noreply.github.com> Date: Wed, 28 Oct 2026 14:42:30 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] fix(deps): require use-sync-external-store ^1.5.0 so the ESM build loads in Node dist/index.js imports `use-sync-external-store/shim`, which is kept external. Before 1.5.0 the package had no `exports` map, so Node's ESM resolver treats `/shim` as a directory and throws ERR_UNSUPPORTED_DIR_IMPORT. That breaks anything that loads the ESM build without a bundler: Vitest tests in apps that use reactfire, SSR that keeps dependencies external, and plain Node scripts. The CJS build is fine. Raise the floor to ^1.5.0 (lockfile: 1.2.0 -> 1.7.0). --- package-lock.json | 11 ++++++----- package.json | 2 +- 2 files changed, 7 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) diff --git a/package-lock.json b/package-lock.json index 37e5294c..e5bffba6 100644 --- a/package-lock.json +++ b/package-lock.json @@ -11,7 +11,7 @@ "dependencies": { "rxfire": "^6.1.0", "rxjs": "^6.6.3 || ^7.0.1", - "use-sync-external-store": "^1.2.0" + "use-sync-external-store": "^1.5.0" }, "devDependencies": { "@rollup/plugin-typescript": "^12.3.0", @@ -15520,11 +15520,12 @@ "license": "BSD" }, "node_modules/use-sync-external-store": { - "version": "1.2.0", - "resolved": "https://registry.npmjs.org/use-sync-external-store/-/use-sync-external-store-1.2.0.tgz", - "integrity": "sha512-eEgnFxGQ1Ife9bzYs6VLi8/4X6CObHMw9Qr9tPY43iKwsPw8xE8+EFsf/2cFZ5S3esXgpWgtSCtLNS41F+sKPA==", + "version": "1.7.0", + "resolved": "https://registry.npmjs.org/use-sync-external-store/-/use-sync-external-store-1.7.0.tgz", + "integrity": "sha512-6L+EeigHMQhdaIPNIFUKwfWJSwWFQ8gJbJ2DLOs5sDIegTwR9fRxvnM3uciHKjIZhFz+KAv2emhWMRvDmMcY8A==", + "license": "MIT", "peerDependencies": { - "react": "^16.8.0 || ^17.0.0 || ^18.0.0" + "react": "^16.8.0 || ^17.0.0 || ^18.0.0 || ^19.0.0" } }, "node_modules/util-deprecate": { diff --git a/package.json b/package.json index 6b6b707f..9a29dcee 100644 --- a/package.json +++ b/package.json @@ -109,7 +109,7 @@ "dependencies": { "rxfire": "^6.1.0", "rxjs": "^6.6.3 || ^7.0.1", - "use-sync-external-store": "^1.2.0" + "use-sync-external-store": "^1.5.0" }, "allowScripts": { "@firebase/util@1.12.1": true,
